Minister calls for greater agri-trade with India, reducing risk of double tax

Israel’s Agriculture and Rural Development Minister, Orit Noked, has called for India and Israel to cooperate in easing agricultural regulations and barriers to greater trade between the two growing economies. The objective is also to reduce or remove the risk of double taxation.

Israeli agricultural technologies help achieve efficiency in farm production with less labour, which together with the country’s irrigation technologies could be adopted by India to its great advantage.
